Here's why you will like this new premium feeder insect...
Phoenix Worms are ready to serve when you take them home. There's no need to dust or gut load these insects before feeding your pet. Phoenix Worms naturally have 23 to 61 times more calcium than other commonly fed feeder insects! (See the nutritional comparison chart for more info.)
Nutrional Analysis:
There's no need to culture them.
There's no need to feed the food.
They stay fresh in their cup for weeks at room temperature.
They do not make noise.
They have no odor.
They will stay in a jar lid--no escapees in the house!
You're going to enjoy watching your pet discover this new food.
Here's why your pet will love Phoenix Worms ...
They wiggle intensely which excites and entices herps.
They taste good (a guess, but herps greedily consume them).
They come in four sizes to satisfy most pets, from darts to dragons.
They stimulate the appetite of animals that don't readily feed.
They may halt or reverse the effects of metabolic bone disease.**
The following testimonial came from a customer that buys from our supplier:
** "I have a veiled chameleon that was very ill with metabolic bone disease when I got him. Two vets told me that he was unlikely to survive. As soon as I started feeding him Phoenix Worms his health improved greatly. It's amazing how much better his color and strength are. Best of all, he's put on weight and is active and happy. My turtles LOVE them, too. Thank you SO much!! Also, I'm so happy that I can order them directly. They last so long that I still have some left, but I'll need more soon."

Frequently asked questions
Q: Should I refrigerate Phoenix Worms to keep them fresh?
A: NO. Phoenix Worms can tolerate high temperatures but will have the best shelf life when stored at 60 to 70 degrees F. They will last several weeks at this temperature range. (We have even seen active worms after three months in their cup.)
Q: Should I leave the top off of my cup of Phoenix Worms to give them air?
A: NO. The special cup must be kept closed to ensure a long shelf life. Your Phoenix Worms will be able to breathe in their cup (we promise).
Q: What is the sawdust-like stuff in the cups? Is this food for the worms? Do I need to feed them anything else?
A: The packing material is an organic medium but it is not food. Phoenix Worms must not be fed as this can foul the media and cause growth of bacteria, fungus, and other problems. Just add a few drops of water if the media/worms begin to appear too dry.
Q: My PW's are starting to turn dark colored. Does this mean they are dying/dead?
A: NO, the PW's turning dark as they age is a natural occurance. They are not dying/dead and they pose no threat to your animals. We believe they may be even MORE nutritious at this stage.
Q: Will the larva turn into flies?
A: It's an extremely rare occurance to have the larva turn into flies.
